JOIN THE SANTA BARBARA WOMEN'S POLITICAL COMMITTEE

The Santa Barbara Women's Political Committee is also a member of the Santa Barbara Pro-Choice Coalition and Santa Barbara Women Against Gun Violence. Committees on health, lesbian rights, environment, education equity, affirmative action, reproductive rights, violence angainst women, and economic issues and other policy areas are activated on an "as needed" basis.

Annual membership dues are $35 for individuals; $50 for family/household memberhips; $100 for Sustainers; and $15 for students/seniors/and those on limited incomes. Members receive recommendations on candidates for public office, a quarterly newsletter, special bulletins and notice of programs sponsored by the SBWPC as well as other community groups - all designed to help keep members informed and enabling them to remain politically active. Membership dues go toward assisting those candidates identified by the SBWPC as supportive of a feminist agenda.
